The Alpha course is a series of 10 weekly sessions aimed at helping you to find out for yourself what Christians believe and whether it makes sense.

Each evening lasts about 2 hours and includes a meal, talk and feedback time. More than 7,000 churches in the UK are running Alpha which has been the subject of an ITV documentary hosted by Sir David Frost who described the course as "Big brother meets the New Testament"

With Alpha you won't be embarrassed by any hymn singing
or religious ceremony. It will be very informal and you won't find it boring. Alpha is simply an opportunity for anybody and everybody to take a look at what the Bible says about Jesus Christ and who he is.

Alpha topics include:

What is the point of life?

What relevance does Jesus have to our lives today?

How do we deal with guilt?

Why does God allow suffering?
